I have written a Children's Book about 2 Snow Owls 1 from Russia and the other from Alaska. They meet each other on ST. Lawrence Island and quest together. I would like to send someone in Savoonga a copy to read for your children. If anyone is interested send me an address to send a copy to. Thank you for your time, Carl Francis Ivey II {Lucky}...

The students run this school. The administration permits students to curse out teachers and hit them, and then they often send them right back to the classroom! Parents get to do the same thing. Many of the parents could care less about their kids' education! Basketball is life! It's all they care about. That is all that seems to matter to them. Students are often absent and exhausted when they do show up to class, and few of them ever do their homework or graduate. Most of them chew tobacco and/or smoke. They sometimes start this habit in kindergarten! Many parents give the cancer-causing junk to them! Many students chew in class and smoke on school grounds. We as teachers are asked to turn somewhat of a blind eye to it. There is a gross lack of curriculum. Some parents and students make racist remarks against blacks and whites. Bad school!
